Tree services in Loftus
Loftus sits right at the gateway to the Royal National Park, with homes close to bushland and much of the area bushfire prone. Big gums near houses and 10/50 checks are a regular part of the job.
Whatever the job, the approach is the same: a free quote, a clear price, safe and careful work, and a site left clean and clear. Our team is fully insured, compliant and licensed, with more than a decade of experience across Sydney.
Things to watch on Loftus properties
- Large eucalypts and angophoras close to the house
- Bushfire-prone land and the 10/50 clearing rules
- Dead branches and storm damage along bushland boundaries

Council rules for Loftus trees
Loftus falls under Sutherland Shire Council. Whether you need approval depends on the tree's size, species and location, so check before work starts. Much of the Shire is bushfire prone: if your property is in a 10/50 vegetation clearing entitlement area, you may be able to clear trees within 10 metres of your home without council approval. Check your address with the NSW Rural Fire Service first. We can help you work through the council application.
See our council tree permits page for links, or just ask when we quote.
