Land & Block Clearing Sydney

Clearing for new builds, extensions, pools, driveways and bushfire safety. We remove trees and vegetation, chip the waste and leave the block ready for the next stage.

What we do

Land Clearing across Sydney

Tree removal and land clearing go hand in hand. Whether you are clearing a block for a knockdown-rebuild, making room for a pool or extension, opening up an overgrown backyard or reducing vegetation around a home in bushfire-prone country, we take out what needs to go and deal with all the waste.

Clearing for building work is usually covered by your development approval, and that approval will say which trees can be removed and which must be protected. We work to those conditions. Outside development, many councils still control tree removal, so we check the rules for your address before any work starts.

For homes in bushfire-prone areas, the NSW 10/50 vegetation clearing rules may allow you to clear trees within 10 metres of your home, and other vegetation within 50 metres, without council approval. Use the NSW Rural Fire Service's online tool to check whether your address is in a 10/50 area.

FAQ

Land Clearing in Sydney: common questions

Do I need approval to clear my block?

Usually. If the clearing is part of building work, your development approval will set out which trees can go. Outside development, council tree rules apply, and in bushfire-prone areas the 10/50 rules may allow some clearing. We check before we start.

What is the 10/50 rule?

In NSW, if your property is in a designated 10/50 vegetation clearing entitlement area, you may be able to clear trees within 10 metres of your home and other vegetation (not trees) within 50 metres without approval. Check your address with the NSW Rural Fire Service's online tool first.

Do you grind the stumps as well?

Yes. We can grind stumps as part of the clearing so the block is ready for the next trade.

Do you do commercial clearing?

Yes. We work on residential and commercial sites.
