Tree services in Kareela
Kareela is a quiet residential suburb with many homes backing onto bushland reserves. Large native trees on boundaries and storm-damaged branches are what we see most here.
Whatever the job, the approach is the same: a free quote, a clear price, safe and careful work, and a site left clean and clear. Our team is fully insured, compliant and licensed, with more than a decade of experience across Sydney.
Things to watch on Kareela properties
- Large eucalypts and angophoras close to the house
- Bushfire-prone land and the 10/50 clearing rules
- Dead branches and storm damage along bushland boundaries

Council rules for Kareela trees
Kareela falls under Sutherland Shire Council. Whether you need approval depends on the tree's size, species and location, so check before work starts. Much of the Shire is bushfire prone: if your property is in a 10/50 vegetation clearing entitlement area, you may be able to clear trees within 10 metres of your home without council approval. Check your address with the NSW Rural Fire Service first. We can help you work through the council application.
See our council tree permits page for links, or just ask when we quote.
